HOW TO SETUP AND PERFORM SOFTWARE UPDATES ON MAC OSX

  1. While in FINDER, click on the Apple pull-down menu.
  2. Select SYSTEM PREFERNCES.

     

  3. When the SYSTEM PREFERNCES window opens it should appear like this:

     

  4. From the SYSTEM PREFERNCES menu select SOFTWARE UPDATE.
  5. You can setup the Software Update to run AUTOMATICALLY or do an CHECK NOW to get updates immediately.
